Just another post....

it's memorial day
i'm really shaken up about this so
this is a tribute to everyone who died in the wars
all of the wars
everyone who died
on both sides
this is a tribute for the vietnamese teenager with his whole life in front of him, shot down by an american bullet
and this is a tribute for the american who came home and hung himself because he couldn't get the death out of him
to all those shot
to all those who died
to all those who lost a husband, a wife, a son, a child, a spouse
this is a tribute.
i am not silent.
i will not forget.

eli and his teddybear from nano.

Its not really a poem, but everyone mistakened it for a poem until eli came and said it wasn't, but its still really cool and looks like a poem. Its a really good post, either way.

From a blog that I found in someones siggie, was a really good quote, as well, but since I never post on here...

"You cannot leave where you are now, until you have decided where you would rather be." -Anonymous
The following post was very true as well, I think.

This quote rings true for most of us, at least from my perspective. How many of us here are aspiring to be authors, or artists, or something that we feel cannot be attained? What are we going to do to reach that?
In every Writing Conference or class I've ever attended, this message, while not always spoken, has always been there: If you keep at it, and you try hard enough, you will get published. Granted, not every aspiring author is going to publish the next bestseller. But none of us can see the future, and you miss 100% of the shots you never take.
That was the post after the quote. I think it rings true for most of us, as well. You will regret all the things you don't take. And we won't be the next best seller, either. But if you try hard enough and all that stuff, you may/will make it!

Well, I think thats all.... Have a good week!

Hmmmmmmmmmm

So I just deleted the rest of the posts, and now wish I had and undo button -_- darn it.

Anyways, hopefully I'll actually post on here....  So, camp nano's coming up! I have both of my ideas, except now I'm not sure which one I want to do first.. Its a series, and I'm thinking about doing two first... Really, that wouldn't hurt anything, because MC from book one may not be returning, and the plot takes a major twist... The first one President has ruled the world a thousand years or more, a little country rebels, it wins, in 3500, just after all the territory's win freedom, another half of the island (book two comes in) appears, and this side has islands creeping around it, as well has humans who don't yet have electricity....

MC in book two finds herself in the largest territory (of which is mostly a giant city) of the new country, Ashland, while an unpleasant disease still rages through it. She steps into the year 3500, and pretty much freaks out a little....

Anyways, she has a friend dragon (although the dragons destroyed her villiage when she was young), of which stays behind until MC gets back, and then she doesn't get back for a bit because of the winding city...

I'm still thinking about wheather or not shes immune to Rage or not. And which one I want to do first.. and darn it we regret a lot in life....
